L3600 Kubota Elec. Problem

This evening after dark parked tractor in shed turned off lights,stepping on brake noticed no parking light,turned off ignition switch engine continue to run,and now no lights,pulled Emer.Stop sw.diesel engine quit but now will not start,Tractor serviced about 10 hour ago at this time battery terminals cleaned,battery about 6 months have no problem starting.What should I look for in morning if battery has voltage thanks ken

O'k no suggestions to Questions. The brackets that hold batterty in place had came loose and angle iron normally across top front had fallen to front then battery shifted onto its side facing the radiator and was arking the metal guess heat loosened the positive terminal connection, this allowed the Alt. to continue generating power for the lights.and parking brake light. turning off the ignition stopped the Alt. voltage so now had to use the Emer. shut off to stop engine.
but now no voltage to restart. This morning in the dark and rain fixed the problem,hauled hay to the cows all appears to work, put a streched bungie cord behind the battery to prevent this from happening again.

It sounds like it may be a bad ground. Many electrical systems operate with the device always hot, and operating the brake or turning off the switch grounds the device and shuts it off. It's worth a try.

I agree with Toadhill. Seems most all of the hard to find problems I've ever encountered have been with a bad ground somewhere. Do you have a multimeter? Good luck!
