I need a little help. My L3710GST 3-point is doing the following:

Whenever I lift the 3 point all the way with the control lever, the hydraulic pump continues to load up, even when the lift is all the way elevated. Its like the true position is not being fed back to the lift controls and the pump just keeps loading. If I move the control lever about a 1/4 inch from the full up position, the pump stops loading up and everything works fine. That will work until the next time I bump the lever with my leg and then it loads up again. Up to this point, I've been too cheap to buy a service manual (guess I'll have to rethink that shortly). Anyone out there that can give a me some help on this?

Second thing:

I have a Kubota front-end loader on this machine that has seen several hundred hours of use on crushed concrete. Have already had to weld in some plates to reinforce/replace the underside of the bucket due to wear from the concrete during back dragging. Now I have significant wear on the front leading edge of the bucket and need to do something to rebuild this edge. Any ideas?

Thanks folks! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If it's anything like the B series tractors (and I don't know that it is), that's a simple adjustment (may be explained in the operator's manual as well as the workshop manual). Isn't there a rod attached to the right lift arm that controls a linkage under the right side of the seat? I don't know how to explain it without a picture, but looking at it might make it self evident.

Sounds like you have the light duty bucket, the heavy duy one has a replaceable cutting edge so when it wears a new one is bolted on. You could try welding a new cutting edge on.

There is an adjustment under the right side of the seat, under the seat bucket. Almost looks like a cable end adjustment that runs through a bellcrank. I'll give it a try tomorrow and see if that solves the problem.. Thanks Bird.

I've seen the heavy duty bucket edges on some other tractors. Now I need to find a way to repair this one. Hope I don't have to crop out the old and weld in a whole new piece.
I've emailed my local Kubota dealer and am waiting on his reply.

Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
