UDT, UFT? if it says it will work in Kubota, it should be OK. My guess would be that it is unlikely to cause damage. I just eliminated the guess work and got UDT for both my 50 and 200 hour hydraulic changes.
A warm transmision is adequate. UTF for the front axle is fine, they come with UDT in the front axle, not gear oil although gear oil is also appropriate. I change engine oil hot but with the appropriate precautions eliminate burning myself. I only change the 3 oil filters not the air or the fuel. I leave those to my judgement. If I was in filthy conditions, I may decide to change my outer air filter well before the called for change. Since I do not, I make my own tests. I like the light test. Hold it up to the sun and compare it against a new filter. The fuel filter may not get changed for years. My fuel goes in clean to the point that the filter should last much longer then the replacement period called for. It's cheap, some may call it insurance, I call it changing a perfectly good and clean filter.
It's not difficult to do , just have a few rags around and for the hydraulic fluid, do it on gravel in case you over run your draining pan. Mine would not hold all of the oil so I estimated when it was full and replaced the plug. Small amount of oil on the fingers, but it's very clean hydraulic fluid. Emptied the pan and drained the rest. The amount the manual says it will take and the amount you will use will indeed be different, you won't get that much out. Hydrostatic filter may take some convincing, the weeny filter wrenches may not take the extra uhmp required. Have a decent one or make sure you have access to one if you plan to use your tractor that day.
Good Luck, you won't really need it, /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
