L39 drawbar w/BH ?

Does anyone know if you can leave the optional drawbar in place with the backhoe attached on an L39? Or does it need to be removed after use?

I got the Drawbar Kit for Christmas, was easy to install. You have to pull the drawbar itself out when attach the backhoe(sticks out to far) but the bracket can stay on the tractor. I was worried about that too after it was ordered but hoped the designers would have taken steps to prevent removing the whole thing. Go ahead & order yours, it will run you $207 plus shipping, local dealer got me for tax too.

Did you get yours from Gateway or Gardiner's?

I ordered it from Hugh Gardiner, if I had it to do over again I would have ordered it from Messicks in PA & avoided the tax, checked both it was the same price plus shipping. Wanted to try to keep the business local. Had to make two trips to Gardiners, got the 1 box & thought it must be a really short Drawbar?? Should have been 2 boxes, 1 was the kit other the drawbar itself. He had to get Kubota to send the second box that was missed. Should have checked it before but my father picked it up while I was at work.
I had the install instructions here yesterday I could have scanned & posted but didn't check the forum & now there somewhere else. If I get to them next week I'll try to post, it shows the complete break down in pictures.

Orchard, you must be local, I see you know who the dealers are here in Southern Maryland.

Does anyone know where the drawbars are stored on a Kubota L39? I can't really tell from the picture shown on Kubota's website.

I've yet to take my backhoe off but I've got 3-point hitch components stored on the outside of the mid rear lower frame just inboard of the front of the left rear tire.
