I'm thinking of trading my skidsteer for a wheeled unit now that my trail work in the woods is done. A good possibility would be to get an L39 without the backhoe and rig it with a hydraulic remote and skid steer attach so I can use my Bobcat buckets and grapple.

But I need to know the height of the beast, and I can't find simple dimension specs on Kubota's website. So will this thing fit inside an 8-foot garage door?

Secondly, the web site says it has a skid steer "like" attach. I assume this is not a real skid steer attach but only one that works like one. Am I correct in my assumption, or can I order it directly with the Kubota quich attach?

I will sure appreciate your replies, so I know whether this is a realistic possibility for me.

It makes it inside an 96" door with ~0.5" to spare.

The Q/A is a standard skidsteer setup, no problems.

The only problem you might have is ground clearance, it is lower than a normal CUT.

Thanks, SkyPup.

I sure like that sloped hood on the L39 better than the ones on the Grand L's. With my skidsteer, I'm used to being able to see what I'm doing! And I shouldn't need too much ground clearance anymore, having wiped out most of my bumps and holes with the Bobcat.

I've really enjoyed the first 250 hours of seat time on ours, it has been 100% bulletproof! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Danny, I use a Bob Cat Low Pro 74” bucket on my L39 without any problem. Your bucket and grapple will fit just fine.
