Well is the new :tractor: sitting in the shed yet Buster57
Or are you still thinking!
If not where did you buy it! :)
Come on your keeping us in suspense!!

It finally stopped raining here for the first day in about 3 months....I will make a move for certain ASAP.

Seriously-it has been raining harder here in Washington County, Oregon then anyone wants to remember...makes you want a cup of coffee more then a tractor! Finally the sun is coming out so I am sure my local guy will get a call soon-very soon!

I will show pictures for certain!!

Some of the JD dealers were pretty bad. This guy went the extra yard. I will give them a shot just to see what they have.

An independent tractor and farm equipment mechanic was out at the farm yesterday and we were talking about different brands of equipment, this guy works on any brand, size and type of farm equipment. He said the biggest thing with JD is parts, he said he can get parts for just about JD tractor or implement that he comes across. He said I'm not knocking anybody else's stuff but that's just the way it is. He's not a huge JD fan either, him and the local dealer have had a few run ins probably because he charges about 40-60% less than the dealers charge, he does mobile and shop service just like the dealers and so far he's been able to fix everything we've run by him in the few years we've been getting work on the stuff around here, he's young but doesn't mind getting dirty and seems very knowledgeable.

Good luck in your search.

Off Topic: He's going to have to split the wife's International 574 to try and straighten out the mess a dealer done to the clutch on it. He said of all the 100's clutches he's adjusted and replaced he's never seen anything like what he saw with this one. My late FIL had it replaced and the tractor painted about 4 years ago and the clutch just keeps getting worse and worse, it wants to grab after you depress the clutch part way in, talk about unsettling. She had it do that to her twice in one day and enough was enough, she presses the clutch part way down, it releases and then it grabs and takes off with the pedal part way down like it's haunted. Also hopefully he can find the leak in the AC of the Case IH 5140, no else has been able to or willing to come out and do it, they all want it brought in, he put dye in the system yesterday to try and find the leak before converting it over to newer type refrigerant. It has just enough R12 in it to short cycle so hopefully it'll push the dye through and find the leak. BTW: I told him to take a few pictures of the clutch if he could because if what he told me holds true a dealer not too far from here is going to get an earful.
