L4060 First Regen - Strange

I’d give it time for a few more regents and see how it goes. My 3 Kubotas with DPF have never done an early regen but my nephew has said his M110GX has. My M7, however, is prone to finishing its regen at 28 to 32 percent. Over the next few hours it will drop, depending on load as low as 6%. Then it will begin climbing. Thursday I was operating at 100% power or within a few percent of it and it took a long time to regen, ended at 28%, and after the regen was complete had dropped down to 18% a half hour later when I got rained out. My dealer has flashed 3 software updates and I continue to have this happen but no longer worry about it.

Well the service manager has never heard of that issue before, who'd have thought. Going to see how future regens go and take from there.

I got in the tractor today to spread some rock in my driveway. I checked the DPF level while I was waiting for it to warm up. It was at 54%. About a half hour later I noticed the regen light was on. I had the engine at about 2400 rpm's. It seems like the DPF level guage was wrong or it regen'd when it wasn't supposed to. Tractor has about 15 hours and this was the first regen.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Dealers are supposed force a manual regen before delivery. This initial regen is controlled by the dealers laptop and Kubota diagnostics software. Who knows what condition the controller was left in after the initial regen.

I expect that future regens will be as expected.
