Tractor is L4240 with 100 hours. Loader is LA854. The loader control arm is quite stiff. I thought it would 'break in' after some use. My previous tractor was a L3240 and the control was great. Very smooth. This 4240 is almost a tad jerky because it is so stiff. Any thoughts? TY
On the BX, I start by taking the plastic cover off the control, and then the cooling grille, then follow the link arms down to the block. Oil/grease all moving connections. Should help a lot.
Paul Short has a video on the BX FEL control arm (this one was too loose) near the end of the video, but you can see the linkage. On the L it might be different, but same idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pi9PVdEmNRs. Second time I posted this video today!
