The L4330 was delivered on June 12 to our horse barn. One shameless plug for Byrd Tractor in Manassas, Virginia. David, our Sales Rep, did a wonderful job, and came out to the barn for a couple of hours to orient us on safe operation, FEL removal, maintenance, etc. I operated the tractor for about 30 minutes between rain storms yesterday to harrow the riding arena with a chain harrow. The wife is also excited, and she took the tractor for a spin up and down the driveway a couple of times. It's way too early to provide any kind of review, except to say that based on the early experiences, Kubota builds a terrific tractor. (I tried to attach a picture, but my file size is 10 times bigger than the limit- going to have to figure out how to shrink them...)

Thats great, is this a HST model? Hope it works as well as the L3830 HST I purchased about 1 month ago and is waiting for its 50 hour oil change. I found the new L30 series to be smoother and even quieter then the previous and great L10 series. Rat...

Congratulations on the new 'Bota! I am from your neck of the woods at least before I entered the Army 21 years ago, but my family is still in Fauqier County. That area has really changed since then. I remember when Manasas was a small farm town. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Rat,
It is a hydro. We wanted a tractor that the wife could easily drive and clutches are not her thing. Anyway, we are waiting for it to dry out a little so that we can get a carport put up for it. The barn is fully occupied by horses, hay and associated equipment, so we are going to put down a load of 21a gravel and have one of those metal 20' by 20' carports put in. Seemed like a fast and cost effective way to provide a shelter. However, the ground is very wet after weeks of rain showers here in northern VA, so I'm worried about the dump truck sinking! The driver told us that the heavy wreckers charge $500. We are excited about our new 'baby' and are looking forward to lots of seat time and work getting done. I just went out and bought some tools - grease gun, pry bar, adjustable wrenches, fuel funnel, large screw driver, etc. Do you fellows recommend any additional things to carry in the tool box?
