3-Point Hitch L4330 GST 3pt valve adjustment

I have an L4330 GST and the 3pt is not lifting until my control lever is at the very top of of it's operating range (like #7 or 8). Basically, entire range of the 3pt hitch is controlled by the last inch and half of control range. I'm sure there's an adjustment linkage or screw somewhere that will correct this. I just don't have the know how or book that shows me where it's at. Any help would be appreciated.

That's interesting because I used to have a case 275 that did exactly what you described. I wasn't as proactive as you and never found out the reason but I'm interested in your outcome.
Did it always act this way or did it just start doing this?

I bought the tractor new in 2004 and it's been a gradual progression to this.

If the adjustment is where I think it is, you're not going to like it.. Unless the pin that holds the position lever on the shaft is sheared off, you'll have to remove the top of the transmission case and get at the 3 point control valve.

The pin I'm talking about locates the position lever in a definite relationship with the control valve input shaft. The input shaft controls the position of the valve spools in the 3 point valve. If you're lucky, the pin has either come out or sheared off.

The attached picture is three point feedback lever from the parts manual for my L39. I suspect your tractor has a similar setup. The control lever is connected the shaft 060. Make sure you have not sheared the pin that connects the lever to the shaft and that none of the feedback linkage is loose. If all the external linkage and controls look good, then the problem is probably the control valve under the cover. The control valve has some adjustment nuts that may have come loose.

Just went out to the shop and checked and the pin is fine. I tend to be lucky that way.
