L4330 GST skipping gear numbers

Looking for advice on tracking down an issue on my L4330 that is progressively getting worse. About 2 weeks ago I noticed that the GST transmission wouldn't go into 12 gear with the shifter at the bottom. Today I go out to do some mowing and with the lever all the way down (suppose to be 12th) the panel is reading 10 and that is what the tractor feels like it is in. If I run the shift lever I notice that it is also skipping a few other gears. No error codes on the dash. Fluid seems ok is this a possible sensor or shifter problem. No grinding or noticeable problems during operation other than not having those gears. Any advice on where to start the troubleshooting would be appreciated.

Sounds like a bad pot on the gear shift.

The service manual has testing and I think calibration info.
