L4400- Connect post driver to FEL hyd?

Just want to make sure I don't do something stupid and screw up my new to me tractor. Would there be any issues if I run a Shaver HD8 post driver off of one of the hydraulic QD's for the FEL? Figure if I can tie into that and dump it back into the reservoir, my wife will just have to hold the joystick in the correct spot while I'm using the driver right? No chance of burning up with pump or anything like that right?

I looked into getting a set of remotes but hard to justify 900 bucks for something that will only be used once in a blue moon. Thanks

Sounds like a good plan to me.

If she moves the lever the wrong way, it will deadhead the pump, but the pressure relief will kick in. No problems there if is only a few seconds, if you do it for a while it will cause heating & foaming issues. Just make sure there are no obstructions on the tank circuit.

Oh, use the lift circuit... the curl circuit has regen, which can be an issue if you don't know what it is as it doesn't behave like a normal valve. Search here for more info on regeneration if you want to know more.
