I've been quoted and out the door price of $22,176 for L4400 with FEL, toothbar, & R-4 Industrial tires.

Is this a reasonable price?

Has anyone heard that they are discontinuing these next year?

The New Holland 45a was quoted at $24,000 out the door.

Anyfeedback would help:confused:

Seems a little high, SOS. The quotes I've seen here generally run $19K to $20K, but a lot depends on your area. Don't forget to add some rear remotes to your hydraulics. If your dealer won't budge from that price, maybe you could get him to include a couple of sets of remotes. First set generally runs around $800; second set, $400. You'll need them, sooner or later.

Bought exactly the same setup except toothbar 1 year ago shortly after THE hurricane. Dealers couldn't keep tractors in stock due to the demand, and I paid $19,650 total price including full of fuel, water in tires, etc. I think $22k is $2k too much!
Do get rear remotes, they cost more later on.

I've basically given up on the Kubota dealer in my town. I had received quotes 120 miles away for less and based on your feedback on prices, I may just go with the Hew Holland 45a for the same price. Thanks for your feedback and I will definately get some remotes.

$17,900 in Indiana with an LA703 loader. Ag tires and weights included.

If you lived here in NH I'd say that's about average but in your area it sounds high based on my recent search for a L4400. I ended up having to get a used one but I feel I got a pretty good deal for this region: 2005 tractor w/170 hours, 703 loader, 3 welded hooks on bucket, rear work light, filled ag tires (look 98%), rear remotes, block heater.

Do a Google search for L4400 and you should find several dealers in your area that have very good prices. I nearly bought one new down there and was willing to pay $1500 to ship it up here and I still would have saved over $1000 but then this deal came up and I couldn't say no. Still convincing the wife it was a good buy!

Best of luck in your search.

Paid about $19,600 for my L4400 4wd w/ FEL and AG tires. Follow N80's advice and get the rear remotes. I have a dealer that I could not come to terms with just 3 miles from my place! Ended up at a dealer 30 miles away. I buy from people and if I can not get comfortable, then my wallet stays in my pocket! Don't be afraid of model changes, all of the core components stay pretty much the same. Just remember the L4400 is a TRACTOR in the purest sense of the word. This machine is a basic engine, transmission and hydralic system. Nothing extra to fail. I have been very happy with mine. Good luck!

Here in central Pa when I priced the 4400 they were about $19,200. I liked the tractor but wanted a cab model so went with a different tractor.
