I too just purchased a new L4400HST and would like to add a rear remote. Does anyone know of a kit so I can install it myself. Want to add a hydralic downforce kit to the PHD.

My search lead me to the post above and many others and could not find the "factory kit" part numbers. I called around and have been given (2) different kit numbers.

The more confident dealer thought it would be a L8561 base kit and L8303 valve.

I should have gone more indebt to say I am looking for the factory part numbers for a single rear remote to add on to the L4400HST. And any insight on a good online source for the kit parts.

Here is a PDF of the outlet options. The valves, a hoses and levers are on separate pages.
Pick between the valves on pages 297 or 298(# at the bottom).
Then choose the kit for the first lever on page 299(# at the bottom).
Then choose the kit for the first coupler and hoses 305(# at the bottom).

I just added a rear remote to my L3400, built from scratch since no "kit" was available. Turned out quite a bit cheaper, about $650 for the all the bits and pieces including hoses.

Keep in mind that a hydraulic down force kit for a PHD is a single acting cylinder and you will need a separate return line to your tank. One hose from your rear remote and one hose directly returns to your tank. ;)

Using a single action cyl, you only use one hose, and plug the B port. The other option is to add a hose to the B port on the valve and run it to tank.

Make sure you are looking at the right parts. From the whole goods list. The Y/N column is labeled stackable.

JJ, on a hydraulic down pressure kit for a post hole digger there are 2 hoses. One for the pressure side of the hydraulic and one for the return of the constant flow of hydraulic fluid that can be constantly flowing to the pressure side so as to have a constant even pressure on the auger while digging. I have no doubt that this is actually some sort of safety feature, but none the less it is what the factory down pressure kits have for a PHD. ;) Scroll down to section 4 and diagram 4-6 shows the pressure line and the return line. Sorry for my poor pictures, but when I took those I was not trying to get the hoses for any specific reason.
