Are you interested in a forward or reverse tine rotation tiller?
A light duty 6' bush hog weighs around 475 pounds, medium duty 650 pounds, heavy duty 1,000 pounds.
What do you intend to mow? Got hills to mow?

I have a 5' forward rotation King Kutter. It ran ok behind my L3200. Could have used more power, but HST kept it going well. It matched width properly. I still run it behind my L4060HSTC. 6' 40hp tractor so it's a little wide, but it works well enough I dont upgrade. Mostly doing arena maintnance with it these days. A 6' behind the L4060 machine would probably be ok rather than good, but wouldnt have issues not covering my tracks.
Reverse rotation is fighting the tractor & hence takes a bit more power to run. Forward rotation helps push the tractor. I hear reverse buries material better though. Never had an issue with my forward rotation though.

I run a 6 foot bush-hog on mine with no problem, don't have a tiller so can't help there.

IF you are just going to do some garden spots and you have a lighter duty tiller, you will be fine. But, if you buy something like a Howard of Kuhn tiller, and want to do larger area's like fields, you will be under powered and probably over heat your tractor.
