Well TBN, I posted around Dec or so a price on a new TC45D that was around $22, 900 with a whole bunch of goodies on it. When I went to buy this tractor the price had amazingly went up to $25, 250.00 /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif. Dealer said it was a mistake and the price he quoted was wrong. So, seeing how it wasn't mowing season; I told him he had just lost a sale (nicer version). So, about a week ago, I started to look for another dealer and found this Kubota dealer about 47 miles from my house. Really nice folks. Everyone I have spoke too has good things to say about them (Brown Equipment Company). Me and my wife's allergies tend to get bad during the mowing season (spring till the grass dies). I have around 5 acres that I need to mow and can easily add another 1.5 acres. We have a few trees in the yard but we planted them when we built about 3 years ago so that mowing around them would not be a problem. Sometimes I mow our yard with a Case Mx110 with a 10 foot bush hog brand rotary cutter. We built out in the middle of a field with every type of weed you could name growing in with the fescue and clover. It hadn’t been kept up or sprayed, and it looked bad when we built, but now I have mostly the clover and fescue growing again. Anyhow, as I have digressed, I looked at a L4610 at this place without a cab and drove it. Hydrostat was way better than the TC45D (supersteer is sweet though). It felt solid as a tank under me as I was going up and down some hills at the dealership. So, I thought allergies bad=cab with air /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif. Wife approved of that ideal /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. So is this a fair price on this tractor as equipped. I’m a little leary after the first dealer. Also, we have about 7 acers of flat river lots that I will have to keep mowed in additon to our home place. I have a 2001 Chevy 3500 4x4 and 20 Ton gooseneck trailer that I can use to transport it. I guess the question I am asking is what size mower do you recommend guys or gals? I was thinking about a Woods RM 990 (7.5 foot). Only brand this dealer carries by the way. Those with a cab. Does the air-conditioner and heater work well on this small tractor?
