Has anyone installed a hydraulic quick coupler on an L48? The one on an M62 I was looking at today looked to have similar dimensions, with the exception of the pins being farther apart on the L48 between the points where the loader arms and the bucket cylinder link attaches. Thanks for any input.

What quick coupler? Hydraulically actuated SSQA?

I used a linear actuator to make one for my L3200. Http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/customization/321704-linear-actuator-power-ssqa.html

Going to go hydraulic on my new L4060 as I already have 3rd function lines up there. The Kubota kit is just a $800 cylinder, some linkages & guards, not to mention some expensive valving & lines. There is no reason to reingeneer the whole thing as it already has good geometry for manual or power actuation.

Yes, SSQA. I have hydraulics on the loader. I will add an electric diverter valve. Thanks.

I have a manual A-B diverter that has a pair of inputs & 2 pair of outputs that I will be using. I saw no value in an electrical diverter after hearing of some other setups.

Case 1: no hydraulics on impliment - just leave valve set to SSQA for power SSQA to latch & unlatch as needed.

Case 2: hydraulic impliment - hitch up impliment & lock SSQA. Get off tractor to plug in hoses. Move manual valve off SSQA to impliment while you are up there hooking up hoses anyway. Reverse for unhitching.

At no point does running wiring or buying more expensive electric valves buy you much of anything. So I just decided to go with a manual valve & mount it near my 3rd function QDs near the SSQA.

That's logical, you have to get off anyway to hook hoses. I was thinking of having the option of two functions on an attachment. Unplug ssqa and plug in attachment. I have an idea for a log clamp to go on a set of pallet forks that would have two functions. Moving frozen logs at the sawmill is a pain without a clamp.
