L5240 arrived... Wow. Few pics.

I am in no way bashing the L3400, but the difference is unbelievable. Power to spare and perfect size IMHO. The 854 loader was lifting chunks of concrete far larger than what I expected...


While trying to "sell" the wife how bad I needed real pallet forks she jumped on the tractor to see why I was complaining about using the clamp on forks to load the broken slab... As luck would have it she lined up and lifted a sizeable chunk her first try....... I still got the pallet forks the next day

I am really pleased with this tractor and the service from Brady at Barlow equipment was incredible..

I'm excited for you. I'd love to see myself in one of the larger Grand Ls - up from my L3400 but alas... I have absolutely no reason to do it (yet).

I figure now that if I ever do trade I might as well make it a L4240 or similar.... which means, I'll be waiting a long while.

No, a true redneck would have his kids riding on that thing for ballast....



And he would have a **** of a time keeping his kids off the loaded concrete slab as it's being lifted.....



And he'd probably be driving a John Deere.

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my 5240! Your pictures have gotten me even more anxious. As far as attachments, I got a FEL, rear snowblower, box blade, and an Anbo grapple/rake. I'm itching to get out in the woods with this baby! (after deer season of course) Not trying to hijack your thread, hope you don't mind me posting this here.

I believe that the 854 is uderrated and evey bit the loader as on my L39 with TL-1000, except maybe lift at full height.

Well, I don't know exactly. They're waiting for the grapple to arrive, also there seems to be a shortage of radios right now for some reason. I've got the M9000 all cleaned up and ready for them to take.
