Well, I went back to the dealership that had the L5740 in stock today. They are some of the nicest people. The salesman let me drive a M9540 and M125X. :D :D :D The sales guy that I am working with said don't wory about the quoted price he gave me, only worry about the bottom dollar to trade that he is working on. Said he was going to do his best to get me top dollar for mine (TC45DA), and that he'd give me a great deal. I believe him. Boy, I wish I had not drove those other two tractors though. Now, I have fever. This M125X had an instructor seat.

I actually had my camera today and took pics of the L5740, and the M125X. My salesman is getting me some quotes together for a Loaded M9540, and this M125X. My wife says we should maybe think about freeing up some of our time, and just get the lawn work hired out.  :D

I think for 123 acres that the M9540 would be more than sufficent, but this M125X is so easy to opperate and that power-shift trans is sweet.

I'll be back to reality by Monday when I see these quotes.

Hey, new to the forum and I had a quick question. Since when have they been offering an instructional seat on the M125X? It looks like a factory accessory, but when I priced an M105X about a year ago, it wasn't even an option -- I even asked about it. I would assume it's possible to get one in a M105X since it's the same cab, but does anyone know for sure? Oh, when does the M108X hit the dealers? Anyone seen one in person yet? Thanks in advance for any help!

Don't know, but welcome to the forum!! Sounds like you're looking for some serious iron! Your tractor choices would make mine look puny!;) If you don't mind my asking, what's your acreage?

Thanks! My family farm is right at 100 acres, but I plan to do some custom bush-hogging in my spare time. At this point, my IH 444 is about to give up the ghost after 37 years, and I want a tractor that will last me another 40. I am sick of spending all day on a 5' bush hog without a canopy or anything!! It's high time for a CAB! And as far as I'm concerned, I might as well spend the money to get what I want now rather than trying to save a few thousand dollars and be unhappy in the long run. As a bonus, the M105X is so simple that my wife would be able to use it. She is intimidated by the old and hard-to-drive IH, and I have a feeling I would have to physically pull her out of the cab of that Kubota! I have been looking at them for quite a while and can't justify spending more to go green. Thanks for the welcome, and I like the picture of your 7040! That is a really nice tractor and I love the grapple. I've been reading a lot of posts in the last few days, and it looks like you had trouble making your decision, but I will say it was a great one! Come to think of it, I might need to get a M6040 to replace the IH. That'll be fun trying to convince my wife!:D
