Perfect world for me is an air conditioned cab attached to each implement.

I haven't adequately learned the nutrition thing yet.

About attachments people ask me why so many tractors (have 30, 40, 50 and 60 hp) - my wife understands they're like my wall of hammers, each sized for its uses. When I was a kid there was a farm nearby that had a tractor for every attachment - none of it was bought new. A lasting lesson in efficiency.

With the extendable Lower Links and pinned stabilizers on your 'Grand L', plus top and tilt, there is nothing that will make hooking up implements/attachments much easier.

While what you say is true for most implements, it should be noted that all you mentioned above must be removed to install a backhoe attachment on a grand L. That, plus reinstalling it all makes the BH swap a real PIA.

Sounds like a quick hitch for that tractor and a small excavator might fill the bill.

We just set my 88 yoa dad up with a quick hitch. I will probably get one and set all my stuff up to work with it.

I've had a mini-x for several years and don't know how I got by without one. Very very handy.

On hydraulic lines I just wear leather gloves and have a rag handy to wipe off the few drips. Works pretty good.
