2017 L6060 cab, loader HD bucket, heated rear and quarter glass, rear lights, and wiper, mid pto to run 4479 snowblower with hydraulic shoot deflector, R4's. 55,900 no tax. Anyone purchase something similar

L4560hstc fully loaded last fall was $45k here in CO. I think it was going to be $4-5k to bump up to the next L4760 (1 extra cylinder, bigger tires, & the bigger loader you can't get on the 4060).

$4k was to much for me for the extra HP. I wish I had the extra 7hp on occasion but don't really regret it. It wasn't in the budget & I can just go slower roading it on hills. Only slows me down mowing occasionally.

Purchase agreement was sent for me to sign and send back a deposit, I backed out when I found a 2016 L6060. This had 22 hrs ,rear set of hydraulic's ,plain radio, rear lights, HD bucket, custom rear ballast box, 7' landpride plow with hydraulic angle, Remote hydraulic's for it. Shipped to my house for 41,000 in mint condition.

Nice. $4k cheaper than my L4060. Even better with the couple impliments. Only looks to be lacking air ride & 3rd function mine has.

Would the third function be the button on the loader control, turns blue when pressed then toggle on handle should angle the blade. Can the seat be swapped out for air ride and is it worth the money, Just wondering how well the plow should work.

ktm010, Based on what I saw when looking last winter, you did very well on that deal. Have you already received the tractor?

Delivered late Thursday, absolutely mint condition. I would appreciate any input on the blades capabilities vs having the 4479 blower on it. My last tractor was a JD 3320 open station with a 59"blower also had the 72" JD plow, wasn't impressed with the plow.

There is a toggle button part way up the joystick. When it's lit (mine is green not blue, but that could easily just be a different LED) & on the 2 buttons on the top activate the 3rd function. If it has hydraulic couplers behind the bucket up front it has 3rd function.

An air ride seat isn't cheap, but is a generic part. OEM is Granmar or something like that. I'd guess a hand full of bolts & plugging power into a plug hidden behind the panel over the fender. Pretty sure the dealer just swapped in the seat from the factory seat when they prepped my machine.

Maybe go to the snow removal page, there are many threads on blower vs plow. Depends on your surface, amount of snow, space available for piles, as well as your preferences. I move a lot of snow with an FEL mounted plow, but here it gets to point where it's too much or too wind compacted and then blowing is necessary. But the plow is my first choice.
Or if you are mainly looking for feedback on those specific implements, perhaps start a new thread there.

I wonder what happens to those std equipped seats, and are they any better than the seats in the GL40 cabs?
