Guy in the video is ruining his machine. Just because someone can post a video doesn't mean it is correct or good. Engage at idle as the manual suggests!

Can you can use a front bucket curled out to scrape the snow away from the building then use the blower as intended?
I could pull the snow back from the buildings but then it would still be in front of the buildings, with no place to blow the snow. My buildings are in a "U" configuration and I need to get the snow out of the "U" before I have a place to blow it. Right now I use a front mounted angle plow with wings on it, for the area by the buildings and push the snow up to 200', to an area with a large storage capacity. 2 years ago I ran out of storage in that area and ended up having hook up my rear facing blower and blow some of it away to make more room. I use the inverted blower for my 1 mile long driveway but it would be nice to use it around the buildings but I can't unless I use the inverted blower as the guy in the video does, which is not going to happen now.

Gotcha. Ya that "guy" looks like he borrowed his father's tractor to do some hot rod plowing. Good thing he didnt run into anything.

Pretty sure he is an employee. The company name is JR Snow and the operator is Kevin Graves. I wonder if his employer knows how he gets so many driveways done so fast and what he is doing to his equipment. Maybe he doesn't care, if he trades the tractors in every few years. Then it will be the next owners problem. I doubt WCB, or whatever the government safety inspectors are called in Ontario, would approve of the way the operator is running that machine. Fun to watch though. :)
