LA243 FEL keeps fooling me (humor)

I am new to tractors with only about 20 hours on my BX2660 so I am very cautious and am always looking for loose bolts, fluid leaks etc... A week ago while moving snow, I saw what looked like a major hyd leak near the bucket roll. I extreamly quickly parked the tractor in the garage and after not finding a leak, I happened to notice snow melting off the warm hyd cylinder. Today while moving snow, I saw a clump of snow fall on the hyd cylinder and there was again what looked like a major hyd leak and I almost headed back to the garage. I swear I could hear the tractor laughing at me.
Who wooda thunk it, my tractor has a sense of humor.

Are you saying the melting snow looked like hydraulic fluid? The cylinders do get warm and consequently will melt the snow.. Don't be so nosey looking for problems. When they happen you wil be sure to notice the major ones. Happy tractoring..

When you see scratches in and on your bucket be sure and try washing it off first in case it's just dirt.

Yeah, The way the water was running off the cylinder, I was sure it was a hyd leak.
As far as scratches, No concern here. I bought it to work, not to show.
With my cub cadet 1810 tractor I am usta ducking when going under tree branches. I bettcha the first time I duck this spring, the roll bar will not duck. I could probably sell tickets to that show.
With all my steep banks and slopes I am sure I will probably roll it. I had my cub cadet 1810 on two wheels way too many times.

The ROPS will definitely bend some tree branches and you'll have the paint scrapes to show for it.

Get too close to the lower branches, though, and you'll need a supply of tail/hazard lenses!!

I know my first mow with the 7510 I ducked under the tree branch like I had always done with the craftsman, and just barely got the tractor stopped in time to prevent a hitting the roll bar. just a little too close for the first day of ownership. Still seams funny as I think of it though.
