Looked on the Kubota website and really could not find out, but does anyone know if Kubota makes a 60" or 66" heavy duty bucket for the LA724? All they offer on their website for the 724 is a 72" or a 4-n-1 60". I would rather have the smaller 60" or 66" but in a heavy duty package to fit the 724.

Hello and Welcome to TBN...

Get a skid steer adapter for that loader ... then you can use almost any skid steer attachments from Many companies... KennyV

What kenny said:thumbsup:

And why would you want the smaller bucket on that sized of a tractor???

And if you happen to be looking at the 3240 or 3540, you can always get the LA514 loader with a 66" bucket

Thanks Kenny.
I'll look into the skid steer adapter.

I am looking at the 3240 tractor. I would prefer the 66" bucket because a lot of my work on the tractor will be in very tight places (thick woods) and feel that a heavy duty 66" bucket would suit me better than the 72". But I also need the strength of the 724 loader.

I had a L3130 with the quick attach and I thought it was a 66"HD round back bucket. My current(L4240) has the SS quick attach and a 72" HD round back.By all means get the HD bucket and add a tooth-bar.The L3130 had the 724 loader,I wouldn't want the lighter duty loader.Make sure to ballast with loaded tires/weights or ballast box.

Why I like the 72" round back HD on my 724/3240:

... fits both sets of snow tires, so just one trip back to the shed to fetch them and one more to store the Summer treads.

It's also nice to able to dig wider than your track - keeps your machine level with the last pass and allows you to dig deep with ease.

If I'm working in an area where it gets in the way, I take it off.

Just spoke with my dealer and he said that I could get the 66" roll back HD bucket on the 724 loader.

Anyone exactly how wide the 3240 is with R4 tires? Specs say 59.8 but doesn't say what tire that is.
