LAGEORGE\'s original TC 24D??..........for sale?

Hello everyone, many of you know that I had problems with my original New Holland TC 24D. New Holland ended taking it back and giving me a new one. Now I think I may have found it for sale again at the following link but I am not sure.

I can vouch that it was a nice tractor and if they got it fixed correctly “a good buy” New Holland as a corporation made thing right and I can continue to recommend their products. CHN’s president even sent me a nice letter and the New Holland representative we attentive and responsive, once I got him to come out.

Attached is a picture taken on the day New Holland visited us at our home location. And is one of the last photos taken of that tractor on our property.

Talked to a sales person and he told me the tractor was sold and that it had sold quick. I then asked him if it was he same tractor that I owned and he believed it was but would get back to me to confirm. He added that it was rare to get the “blue ones” back and when they do become available used they go quickly. I then asked him about the 3-spool rear box blade since I only had TNT is that not 2 spool? I think they may have added another tilt cylinder. I do recall there being some talk about it to get it sold quicker. Nevertheless that is a good price for that unit in the LA area. I will wait for confirmation that it was my old tractor.

I may want to go visit it, or is that like stalking your ex-girlfriend or something? I just need to let go and move on with my life. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I see. The ad says its back from lease...which wouldnt apply to you. Id be interested what you discover. Im sure though they refurbed your tractor and resold it.

jimg, dealer called today and told me that the tractor they had listed was indeed my original TC 24D. He did not explain to me the 3 spool setup the description stated it had but I take it they added a third cylinder to the TNT setup. He also told me he sold a TC 45 to someone in my neck of the woods and thanked me for some sales leads I provided him. I hope my old tractor went to a good home.

I'm new to the forum, I'm looking at getting a TC24DA and was curious as to what happened to your tractor. Could you explain or point me to an old post that describes what happen.

It seems like when I read the ad the other day it discribed your tractor as being a rental return. I wonder if they told the new owner that? Or did they tell them the truth?

Steve to keep thing short, my original New Holland TC 24D was the one that got out the factory before it was ready to go. It had many "issues" and was finally done in by the front drive shaft wearing a hole in the oil pan. New Holland made things right but there was lots of grief to go around. I currently have a new TC 24D and this one has been much better all the way around. A few things here and there but nothing that has blue flagged (out of service) the tractor.

It really is a nice size and the model has worked hard for me. People tell me that time heals all wounds. I always question how much time but in the case of my tractor I feel fine now in regards to New Holland.

PS: At the price they sold my original tractor I am sure it was sold as is or maybe they forgot to mention the exact history of the tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
