Laidong 45hp Engine overheat - 454 Tractor

Interested to know if anyone here has got one of these engines in their tractor & how it runs under load.

Got a new 2017 Eurolepard 454 45hp (foton) that I get overheat (gauge & Light) only when slashing, day temp. about 30deg.C , Maybe I am expecting too much from the Chinese engine. Tested thermostat ok (ran without for a test = same overheat)
It uses a lot more fuel than the DavidBrown (~40hp, she is old & tired). The DB temperature stays normal when slashing same. Its not heavy long grass either. Slasher is 1500mm (5') .
other Chinese diesel engine I have are very efficient.

Did you clean out the radiator? Many modern tractors' radiators need cleaning often when cutting brush.

But is the readings and warnings real? Can it be a sensor error?

I did a water drop test just after I got it, when I had short hose issues, (Fill rad & let go of bottom fitting, water gushes out.
The gauge seems to be accurate, operating temperature as per manual, however I will fit a test thermometer for confirm.

Fan belt is properly tensioned, no fin blockage.
