Lakota Tractor - Who made it?

Does anyone know what Chinese manufacture would have made a 2007 Lakota LT 404 40 HP?

As usual we need pics. My guess is its a re badged Foton since it seems to be the 404 that comes to mind.

Interesting. I talked to the guy who was importing them and he claimed that they were not a foton

I guess that I don't understand this posting and the one on the other site. Since you are talking to the importer, who does he say made the tractor?

The pic does not raise any flag. The wheel wheights are unique. this could possibly be a benye or TY (wiefang), or one of several other possibilites. I do not think it is , KAMA, Taishan or Foton, Jinma made a lot of custom hoods... could be but the ROP and wheel weights are not common to any of the brands I know

I could not reply to the post of at CTOA.

I posted this before I talked to the guy and before I knew he was the importer. I was trying to get some info before I looked at it. When I asked him who made it he rattled off some factory and then I confirmed it was not a commonly imported brand and did not share major parts like the drive train. At that point I decided against going any further.

I received a brochure from the importer a few years ago, and posted the referenced photo. But I can't determine who the manufacturer is, either. There are 40-50 tractor factories/companies in China....

Looking to buy my first tractor. Can anyone tell me about Lakota Tractors? Found a LT 40 HP. Are they a Chinese manufactured brand? Any advice would be helpful Thanks!!
