I picked up a land pride 60" box blade today, it's over ten years old but looks hardly used. I think it's too big for my bx but I couldn't pass it up. I need to grade a hill behind the house and prep for a patio. Mostly heavy clay and rocks so I'm sure it will be a few inches at a time. I paid 375 it's a 1560 so I think that's pretty reasonable. Any suggestions would be great I've never used one, thanks.

Fine adjustments of your top link will make lots of difference with an oversize blade.

If there is a lot of rocks (bigger than your fist)...use the rippers to break them loose...once you start grading it pays to have a ground man to chuck larger rocks that the blade catches and may rise up over...

Thanks it works great it's even moving baseball sized rocks no problem. It also destroyed my drain pipe quite nicely. I was so sure I wouldn't go that deep too. I can tell already it's going to be my most used implement. Thanks all.
