Buying Advice Land Pride RCR1872 or Bush Hog SQ172 for L4400HST

I have the option to purchase either one of these for a L4400HST. I will need to cut approximately 2 inch oak saplings in the process of reclaiming some patures and fields.

Which would be the better option for my needs?

wich shredder is purely a personal choice.but i like the bushhogg sq172.an i run a brushogg shredder.

There both very similar in specs.Are the prices the same ?
Do they both bring slip-clutches.By any chance would one of the two have a chain guard on it ?I own the sq172 but IMHO Landpride makes great products.
If prices the same these are things I would consider that would steer me one way or the other.

they are both slip clutches neither have chain gaurds have rubber guards.

The land pride is $100 more

In that case if it were me I'd get the SQ172.
Whichever one you decide to get make sure you get your 3 point pins with it and you check your gearbox oil before useing nomatter what the dealer tells you.
