Thanks for the advice, Carl. I have a 60" Woods box grader that should work fine for counterweight. I have used that in the past for snow removal. It was far from the ideal snow removal implement for my taste, but should help with cleanup, and perhaps for clearing the parking area near the garage. I'm not inclined to get a back blade right now, though I may reconsider if I can pick a used one up at a good price. I'm getting up in years, and want to make things as easy as possible. Think the plow will help in that respect.

A box blade (BB) and an angle capable rear blade are very different implements. From their basic designs they are intended to fo different jobs primarily. Secondarily they do have a small range of overlap.

If you get a rear blade, get at least a 4-way (6-way would be better). A 4-way not only would angle, but also offset (typically to both sides unless hydraulic then sometimes only to on side) and 6-way adds tilt function beyond what the 3ph will tilt.
Rear blades like BB’s are made to be worked in environments that snow blades were never intended. Of course not all are equal. Light duty will not do the same work as heavy duty implements. Nit meaning to slam light duty implements, they have their place, but some jobs are beyond their construction.

The cross over relief is very simple;two ports in and two ports out.The two from the tractor to one side and out to the cylinders.Protects by passing the fluid to the other side if you hit something solid(and you will).

Is that the same thing as a "cushion valve"? Land Pride's literature says they have a cushion valve as an option.
