Rotary Cutter Landpride RCR1272 good price? (With Pics)

I found a Landpride RCR 1272 at a local small implement guy where I live. He told me he traded with a guy that bought it for a 24hp tractor and it was way too big. It looks almost new. No fading, rust, leaks, and the paint on the sides where it touches the ground isn't even scratched off yet. He is asking $975 and said he was firm what does everyone think?

Price is a little bit high imho, but it does look pretty new with little use on it so far. Find out what they sell for brand new and use that for a comparison of depreciation on it. You might be able to use that as ammo to get the price down some. (For $X00 more, I can go buy a brand new one!)

If you can get him down a bit, I would say it's a decent deal. Wave some cash in his face and see what he does. You can always come up to his price.

A new one is about $1500
