For my FEL. I have been looking at the ones H and H has and like the look etc., but was wondering if any of you pros out there had any other outlets/ideas before I pluck down even more in my midlife crisis toy.

OK, I checked the local dealers and went back to where I bought my tiller and box. Took the trailer, loaded the box (never really used it) and the nice guy that owns the place.. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif..country as can be, gave me 200.00 on the box towards a KK 5' landscape rake. I had 225.00 in the box, and gave him 100.00 difference. For something I could use rather than as the box was just holding things I did not want to put where they belong anyway. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Problem is, my bottom links have a tab on them that hits the frame of the landscape rake, making the Pats system (longer length) essential. Think the wife will buy that one? She was impressed with my deal on the rake. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Also, get it all home.........seed, straw, rake, tractor..........and it starts pouring down RAIN. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Photos soon!

The rake, unfortunately in the garage out of the rain. Any yes the top link is too long because of the tabs not allowing it to "fit" correctly. It does work this way, but a real bear to get on and off, even though I can move it on my own power. I can do the Pat's system next week.

Anyone know what the tab is for on this handle of the la211 FEL. Never have figured out the use for it.

That's been discussed before on the forum. I don't recall ever seeing any "official" Kubota explanation, but one possibility is to pull it down over the joystick so you can't accidentally push the joystick forward and lower the FEL when you didn't intend to. The only time I used mine was when I took the FEL off, then I turned it down just to hold the joystick in place; certainly not necessary, but it made at least some use of the thing. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It must be for sometime when the tractor is NOT moving as when I put it down, it activates the FEL.

Thanks for the reply

The loader valve stays on my B2400 when you remove the FEL and I use the locking tab to kep joystick from being bumped since there is no hydraulic lines attached and sends system into the bypass valve
