Rake landscape rake for my bx2230

I am new at this. Will any landscape rake fit my bx2230? Thanks for any help..

I use to have a seven foot that would mount OK but was useless to try to use. A five foot would probably work well.

I was told that only rakes made for subcompacts would work since other rakes would not lift high enough with the bx being lower to the ground ?

I've got a 6' rake on my 2210. Yeah the lift height is a little low, and you'll most likely drag the ground crossing ditches, but otherwise it works fine. I use it often.

Thanks, To get a little extra height on the BX's lift, I was thinking about drilling a few extra holes in the lift arms. Did anyone ever try this?

I'm guessing the 2210 and 2230 are about the same machine. I'd think you'd want to go longer, not shorter, on the 3 point arms for more height. You do gain lift height by shortening the top link, but it does change the angle of attack of the tines. Unless you've got some really rugged terrain, you should find some setting that works for you.

A poster named Henro came up with a pretty decent solution to the problem. He drilled new wholes higher up in the bottom clevis of the lift arms. He got a few more inches of lift this way. I am also told that using any type of quick hitch will also provide more lift height as they effectively lengthen the lift arms.

I have 2 extra holes in the lift link shackles and the lower arms @ 0.75" O.C.
