Hey all.

I read a ton of posts on here about landscape rakes and gauge wheels, but am having trouble finding what I was really looking for. I know this is probably going to be brand specific, but what is the average lowest setting you can get on these guide wheels. One post said with the gauge wheels at the lowest setting the tines were 2'' above grade. That seems like a lot to me and I'm thinking that was the highest the tines would go with the wheels. Am I right? What is a typical range for these? I'm looking at getting a setup to finish off my driveway after Boxblading.

Thanks!

Maybe a language failure? :)

The lower the wheels, the higher the tines. As you raise the wheels, the tines go lower. How far above or below ground level will also depend on hitch height and top link length.

That's what I assumed but you know how that goes.

Do you know what the typical range is on the wheel sets? How low can you go with the tines?

I can adjust the ones on my Woods rake so they don't touch the ground at all-probably 2 inches above the times.
