The ones Mad told you about are the same as the ones I bought. I looked at the agri supply website and asked about them. They gave me the price and what shipping was. in my case 23.00. They got here in 3 days. They were in 3 different boxes so they could come UPS. Later, Nat

I had a chance to use it some yesterday afternoon and can report it works very well. I can back up into the edge of the tree line lower the lift and pull forwqrd and it will pull out the limbs laying on the ground and a lot out the small growth also. I have an old terrace below the house where I'm putting the debris so I just pull several rakes full to the edge of the terrace and every 4th or 5 th time I just push it off the bank. It rakes up the rock pretty well. I have a lot of golf ball to baseball sized rock on the surface from when we put the septic tank and lines in and it picks them right up. Some will fall off the ends but I just moved over a little for the next pass and it gets them then. One little problem is the tines spring some and if you hit a rock that is burried and it doesn't come up sometimes it will skip over it and the tines springing back will through a smaller rock at you. They can sting the back of my little legs pretty good. I have an old C-Farmall and the seat is exposed from the back so it shouldn't be much problem for a CUT as they are more protected. I didn't stop till dark and was going to take some pics this morning, but it is raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock, so I worked in the shop today. I have another project tractor, a B Allis Chalmbers. It is a nice old tractor and I am going to paint it and put a 3PH on it. It will get around in tight places better than the C. Later, Nat.
BTW any takers on my drill press? The price is right"FREE" can't find one any cheaper. Nat

Nat,

Thanks for the report. I'll start planning for my landscape rake project. It sounds really useful.

Nat, nice job on the rake. Now design a skirt to protect yourself and tractor from the flying rocks. I use my rake to remove snow on a slag road and am always getting hit with pieces of slag. I'm going to try and design something before winter gets here.

If it wasn't so far away and if I had a place to put it I would gladly take it. :(
