I maintain a Landtrac 360 DTC 4X4, it is only used for plowing snow. It is used very little and only has a couple hundred hours on it. I do not know the year but from other threads on here about adding hydraulic oil it is of the early model with the sight plug. I replaced the front ring and pinion three years ago as it got chewed up. I educated the owner about how I felt the ring and pinion were sized to small for the size of the tractor and how to be vary careful about engaging the 4 wheel drive and only use it when necessary. The front wheel drive went out again last winter. The ring and pinion gears looked great. This time the input splines on the pinion were striped. The collar splines that fit over it were in excellent shape. Has anyone else had problems like this? What did you do? Does anyone know of a product improvement program? Thank you for any help.
