That's why I use a snow blower. I wait until the storm is over, then go out. Clean it down to the drive in the first swipe. Deeper snow just means slower speeds. I'm never in more than an inch or two of snow, even if it's a couple foot deep. If the sides fall in, I back up and make it wider short sections at a time. Don't have to push it 200' into the yard, tearing that up, to get it out of the way, the blower takes care of that.
Oh, should mention I just got a BX-2670, before that, it was 2-wheel drive garden tractors.
