Largest Bobcat CT w/FEL for ~$14-15k?

I've just learned that Bobcat makes a CT, and for a good price from what I'm reading. I want the best bang-for-buck for my first tractor. My neighbor made the mistake of using his JD 310SG, now I'm hooked!

I'm looking for nothing fancy: just 4wd, FEL, boxblade, and maybe a backhoe later down the road. I'm just curious which model $14k or so would get me.

From what i have been reading, you could pretty easily get a CT 225,230, or 235 for your price range. I would even caution a guess that you might be able to get a CT335 for 14k (don't hold me to it though). I don't think your going to get a CT 2XX TLB for 14k, but with the free loader offer, i am sure you easily come in under budget w/o a backhoe, but with a fel and a couple nice attachments.

I still can not believe the deals people are getting on bobcats right now, I love my kioti, but if I were buying in this market I would not hesitate to go the bobcat route.

Of course all of this is dealer dependent, find a good dealer that is willing to work with you to accommodate your needs.

You will be able to get a CT235 for that kind of money. I really doubt you will get into a ct3## frame for under 15k. But you never know, there are some hot deals on these out there.

I was quoted $14,942 for CT335 with loader and own financing/cash.. I went with the CT235 that will be delivered friday. I wanted the 335 but couldn't justify the additional cost and couldn't swing the higher payments.

Unless you are doing lots of work that requires the PTO or plowing, there is basically no difference, loader and BH specs are the same, unless you have lots of hills to climb. It is only 3 hp difference, what are the $ differences?

the price difference is about a grand

I was quoted only a $450 difference between the 230 and 235, so I got the 235. I do have some hills and gnarley woods to navigate so I thought the extra hp would be nice. Not sure what the price difference between the 27 and 30 horse was.

todays quotes were 14,900 for the 335 and 13,800 for the 235 with bobtach. That is cash price not including tax (I am ag-exempt)

Well, I picked up the CT335 for $14,800-ish, out the door. It's not as powerful as I thought, but again I've been borrowing a John Deere 310SG which rated over 90hp.

Looks like I need something to go on the back because with the loader full it tends to want to roll over
