Laser jet services for the homeowner?

There are a few shops around northern Lancaster County that would do small stuff. At work I get parts cut by one waterjet guy and three different laser outfits.

Anything not really critical goes to the waterjet. The lasers give more exact cuts that look almost finished.

Smucker Laser Cutting near Strasburg, PBZ Fabricating in Ephrata and Yoder Industries near Leola do laser work for us. Musser Industries near Denver does nice water jet work. All of them are reasonable and good to work with. They pop right up on Google. PBZ has lost interest in smaller jobs recently.

Metal Supermarkets , at least locally, do cutting. They are pricey, but at least locally, they have no minimums.

My quote on getting steel circles cut was about 20 bucks a piece + the cost of the steel.
Based on my price of 62.00 for a piece of 3/4" plate cut to a 12" circle.
I could buy the squares (pile caps) for 40 bucks a square foot.

One of our local steel suppliers - Slesnick Steel - has a CNC-driven flame cutting rig ...

Another local one ... Alro Steel - which has branch operations all over the US - offers everything (laser, plasma, water jet, etc):

I've bought steel from both, but have never utilized these services.
