Hooked hitch to hitch that 4 horse GARDEN TRACTOR, would drag your 22 two horse LAWN MOWER
backwards through the woods uphill all the way to grandmas house :laughing:

it would have to be geared down very low to do that.. here are the calculations.. Horsepower - Wikipedia apparently, speed wasn't too much of a consideration way back then..

I'm old enough to remember neighbors mowing with those old tractors. They barely were moving-I think it took a neighbor 45 minutes to do a 1/3 acre lot with a 1960's John Deere machine. We're quite spoiled with our ZTRs, tractors, etc.
