I am going to look at a late 70s early 80s era 410 TLB tomorrow. I was curious as to how the backhoe is attached to the main tractor. I had an old allis chalmers I-600 and the backhoe removal process was similar to that of a modern compact TLB. You just removed two bolts from the top and then used the hoe to lift itself out of the bottom hooks.
I am looking to see if a 410 is similar to this in any manner or if there is a way to remove the hoe "in the field" other than driving out boom pins.
I am very mechanically inclined. I'm just trying to plan ahead for transportation purposes. I have a 14k trailer and a 7k trailer. I was thinking of putting the tractor and loader on one and the hoe on the other. Hiring it to be moved is out of the ballpark at the moment, or I may just drive it the 60 miles of very country West Virginia backroads home

Thanks!
