Late for work, Broken fan belt

Crazy stuff. I saw this one on the news yesterday morning. The guy found this dog in the engine compartment that chewed up some wires and a fuel line. Pretty face on the poor thing.

Poor thing, looks like it moved in for a nice warm place to sleep the night before... I have heard of similar issues with cats in engine compartments tangling with the moving parts trying to get out when the engine starts.

That's how we got our first cat about 8 years ago. I got in the truck in the morning and drove 23 miles to work. After I shut off the engine and radio I could hear meow, meow, comming from someplace onder the hood. When I opened it, out popped a tortoise shell kitten. She found the one safe spot between the battery, the fender, and the headlight assembly to take her joy ride.

We were going to call her Lucky, or Eight, (figuring she only had 8 of her 9 lives left), but she ended up being named Dakota.

Can you guess what kind of truck I was driving?

If this had happened a couple of years later she might have bee named Super Duty.
