Late start this season

Fired the ole jinma up again after another winters nap. It was around 65 degrees, gave it only 5 sec on the plugs, and caught on the first crank. Hard to believe, I'm still on the chinese battery. Did a bunch of yard and field work, yesterday and today. A little late this year, but off to a good start. I hope everyone has a good tractor season.

That's great that it fired up like that. It sure is good to get some seat time again. I think I've already put 100 hrs on my Kama after Winter. Lots of chores to do.

I hauled about 4-5 buckets of dirt this AM, for "moms" flower beds, but that it for today. I expected the chinese battery to die the first year I had the tractor, and every spring expect a low charge, but hasn't happened. The first year I was nice, took the battery out and stored in celler and kept it charged. After that, battery sits with the rest of the tractor under a tarp exposed to outside temps and moisture.

Going to rent a dozer for a weekend this summer, might lead to something to suplement the tractor

John, will you be renting the dozer from the place that sold you your tractor, or will it be from a rental facility? Just curious to know if the tractor dealer also sells dozers. I think this one sells for about 14000.
