There's more confusion with these things than I care to ever know!
Basically, the Kubota regional rep said the cabbed b3350s are giving them problems because the draw electrical / heat-wise given by the cab (sounds odd) causing havoc on the tier 4 emissions. He said the same units without cab are giving them no problem.
Then he said they'll have another "mandatory campaign" on the units in 2 weeks time, at your trusty dealer in 4 weeks time.
So, we wait till October, and then we're still going to be guinea pigs.
It's funny, dealers want you to trust them, but my "dealer" with a b3350 with 30 hours on it said, "This unit is as good as any Kubota B3350 they're selling new now" -- well, that wasn't true. At present, there are 3 campaigns out on the tractor -- the one I'm looking at has only 2 of 3 done -- and soon to be a 4th.
It pays to be a prudent customer here, since I am not one to buy a bag of bolts. Like interviewers, the best you ever see of a dealer is when they're trying to close the deal.
I am very tempted to go with a b2650 at this point -- all this t4 stuff is unnerving, and the units are more expensive than a new car -- :|
