I have a JD LA 110 lawn tractor with about 30 hours on it.
On the deck just left of center is a stationary pulley. There is only tension on it when the blades are engaged. The shaft is held in place by peening the end and a hex in the bracket keeps it from spinning.
Well the peen metal broke and the shaft complete with pulley pulled fell out. So now I can't mow. I went to my dealer who was absolutely no use. Because this is not a part one would not normally replace and not on the part list he was helpless. I called John Deere (lack of) support and they won't do a thing for me except tell me to go to my dealer. I explained I'm not happy with my dealer but they absolutely refused to assist me.
Is there anyway I can order this part. Otherwise my options are wled the shaft on the deck or machine a new one. I bought a JD so I wouldn't have problems with it. I guessed wrong
