LB 1714

Hi there,

I just bought a property that comes with an LB1714. The previous owner had no operating manuals or info on the tractor.

How do you figure out how old the tractor is, the serial number is 400219.

Does anyone know where I can purchase operator and repair manuals

Any help is appreciated

Those machines were made only three years - 1988, 1989 & 1990.

It was replaced by the LB1914.

Retail price when new was $6,925 in 1988 $7,250 in 1989 and $7495 in 1990.

PTO horsepower was 14.0 in 1988 and 14.5 in 1989 & 1990.

Machine weight was 1900 lbs in 1988 and 1800 lbs in 1989 & 1990.

That's about all the info I have at my fingertips. Hopefully someone else will add to it. Do you have a loader or any attachments? You might try E-bay for a manual but I'd imagine it's going to be a tough find. But you never know.

According to the serial number you provided, it was made in 1988.

As far as an owner's manual, it's probably as rare as hens teeth. You might want to order or buy (off EBay) one for a LB1914 - they've got to be very similar.
