we already have several ways to pick up leaves, but this procedures, for large properties, is the fastest and cheapest, yet. Give Mr. M.R. all the credit with his bucket procedure. this system here, which we borrowed, the idea from jerco and the attachment from a friend, which has two, really moves those leaves.
the attachment is called Jerco leaf plow:

It is made for commercial use, but judging from the status of my friend's it could be stronger. his needed quite a bit of reinforcement. on the bottom we added a 4 inch angle iron and from our famous supply, "the bedframe division" we welded three uprights (also angle iron) to the 4 inch piece. again in the saga of how to extend the use of one pt quick attach plate, we welded another square tube piece that fits into our trailer hitch, homemade quick attach plate.
the owner of the two Jerco leaf plows asked us for assistance on a large leaf removal job. in the township where the job was they have curbside pick up. so the task was to get the leaves to the road side and most of this properties 50 year old maples were in the back and not much space on either side of the house, to blow them to the front yard.
we blew the leaves into wind rows. but rather than the conventional way (parallel) to the ultimate destination we made them, at a right angle to the road.
in forty minutes the pt + the reinforced Jerco plow finished the job. my friend told me that he was on that property in the past with 4-5 people, with three 11 horse power push blowers and two back pack blowers, for five hours to do the same job.
and yes, everyone on TBN says where are the pictures of the remodeled jerco plow. well, i hope, that on Thanks Giving i will get some assistance from my younger son and you guys all can build your own leaf plow for allot less money and bigger.
i will let you know how much larger i am going to built our own. the pt 425 has the ability to push much more than a two wheel powered ZTR. let alone for our 1800 division their plows are going to be gigantic.
