Hello kioti lovers!! Lately I've been noticing that I often have to turn around and raise the main boom of the hoe. It's drooping some about every 10 minutes or so. The area under where I sit to run the hoe is wet with oil and dust but not dripping.
So here are some questions. How do I locate the leak?
And could the lazy main boom be a valve that is leaking oil back into the system? I got the tractor with 156 hours on it and I'm just a little over my first 50. Doesn't seem like there should be leaks in the first few hundred hours unless there is a way to turn back the meter. The rear tires look very new but the front ones do not. The lugs are somewhat rounded but still have plenty of tread. The red cap between my feet that says oil? which oil? hydraulic? transmission? are they all the same? The little oil window on the driver's right, near the brake pedals has a white X thing in it. Should that turn while the tractor is running. I've never seen it move. How far down from the hole for that red oil cap should the hydraulic oil be if that's what lives in there?
Lotta questions sorry.
I put a WR Long flat tooth bar on the FEL a few days ago and it seems to working out pretty well so far. Any one been using one of these for a while? I was worried that it would interfere with smoothing in the float mode but it does the job just about the same.
Thanks for listening,
Ron
