I've got a 1500 that is seeping a minimal amount of fluid from the gear shift boot when I use my rear mounted dump bucket. It doesn't leak when I'm not using the bucket/ The bolts seem tight around it - any ideas or comments? Is there a gasket or seal here that I could replace?
Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure there is no seal under the boot except the O ring. Just the shift gate, nylon ball, detent spring and the roll pin that holds the assembly together.

Is your rear bucket hydraulically operated? Maybe it is slightly over full from your last service. Gear drives tend to agitate fluid especially when overfilled. Sorry if I am not much help as I have never owned this model, but relying on similar YM's. and like problems.

Hopefully more and better help will come soon. Welcome to TBN and regards, Mark ***edit*** whoops, posted after Danny...

Yes, the rear dump scoop is hydraulic. The rubber ring is there, but perhaps it's gotten weak / loose over time??
The fluid level is actually down a bit - about half way between the full and add lines on the dipstick.
Thanks for the responses - I guess I'll try to swap the rubber ring from my other 1500 and see if that helps (I have 2 - I got tired of hooking and unhooking implements...)

I read my response and need to clarify - the scoop just hooks to the 3pt hitch - it has no hydraulics of it's own -
