What is the fastest way to get to fixing a leak on cast iron? I put Ju weld just for it to leak again so I grinded it and put some more, same thing it leaked again. Maybe could take a steel plate and weld it on the leak? Only leaks when tractor is on and when I lift hydraulics up.

Are you sure it is the leaking from the cast housing? Could your leak be from a bad o-ring instead?

Cancel that, I see where you said you have already taken a grinder to it.

If it is an actual crack in the cast housing other than replacing the housing welding is the only way to properly stop it. It will have to be PERFECTLY clean of any oil or any residue of any kind before attempting repairs.

JB weld can do a lot of things but holding hydraulic pressure ain't one of em'.
